On Friday, May 12, 2017, SPHS student athletes participated in the 2017 San Gabriel Valley Spring School Games sponsored by the Special Olympics. The athletes were involved in several events including the softball throw, 100-meter race, 200-meter race, and the 4 x 100-meter relay. Students Connor McPherson, Collin Fitzpatrick, and Tyler Tran, placed second, third and fourth in the games. The team placed fourth in the 4 x 100-meter relay running a personal best — 1:25 seconds. Go Tigers!
