Athletes from the far corners of the world and the Americas packed Roosevelt field at South Pasadena High to take part in the 8th annual Tiger Invite on April 6, 2018.

The meet has become one of the most popular prep track and field events in country for competitors in the sport. Teams from as far as New Zealand came to take part, joining other international and local challengers vying for a medal in the numerous events.

The stadium was packed beyond its seating capacity as aficionados came to cheer on their favorite schools. They were not disappointed as the meet produced some excellent marks in both the varsity and Rising Stars sections of the meet. Top athletes who met qualifying marks were allowed to compete on Saturday at the Arcadia Invitational, the most prestigious prep meet in the country.
