Teens ages 13-17 are invited to participate in Everybody Talks: A Thematic Book Club for Teens hosted by the South Pasadena Public Library. At the book club, teens will have the opportunity to explore new titles and genres together. They will read a book of their choosing according to the meeting’s theme and come prepared to discuss their book. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The meeting location or format will be announced prior to each meeting via email to registered teens.
The theme for June is Pride. Some suggested titles include titles like You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson, Heartstopper, Volume 1 by Alice Oseman, The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz, Jay’s Gay Agenda by Jason June, and Cinderella is Dead by Kaylnn Bayron.
