Pocket Park Meeting Saturday Feb.10th

Community Meeting Regarding Future Pocket Parks Scheduled at the Two Sites

In May 2017, the City of South Pasadena acquired two parcels from Caltrans at 1107 Grevelia Street and 2006 Berkshire Avenue, to build future pocket parks at the sites.

David Volz Design Landscape Architects has been hired to compile input from the community and complete the conceptual design for the two pocket parks.

The public is welcome to attend a community meeting regarding future pocket parks on Saturday, February 10. The meeting at 1107 Grevelia St. begins at 10 a.m. and the meeting at 2006 Berkshire Ave. begins at 11:30 p.m.

“This is an opportunity for residents to voice their preferences and provide input on park designs,” said Sheila Pautsch, the city’s community services director.
