Two baseball games, family fun activities, food and a carnival atmosphere will all be part of an opening night celebration Friday for South Pasadena Little League.
Baseball and softball players, along with their parents, family members and friends are all invited to be a part of the big night at Clarich Field in Arroyo Park.
Featured will be an opening night ceremony, carnival for kids and two Little League games.
Schedule of Events:
6 to 7 p.m. – Opening Ceremony
Opening day ceremony and first pitch at Clarich Field.
7 to 9 p.m. Carnival and Family Fun Games
Obtacle cours and other family fun games ($2 wrist band required for obstacle course). Free hot dogs, corn and lemonade.
7:30 p.m. Opening Day Games
Majors at Nelson Field
American at Burke Field
A variety of food items, including grilled hamburgers, will be sold at the snack stands.
Little League officials say upgrades have been made at North Arroyo Clarich, Nelson and Burke fields in Arroyo Park, plus the softball field Orange Grove Park.
