Julia Vari, performed a wonderful set of English and Spanish language songs for the conclusion of the Latinx Literary Love-In in the South Pasadena Library Community Room on Saturday, February 3. More than 100 attended the prestigious free celebration for the release of the 7th Annual “Huizache” Literary Anthology that also featured three outstanding poets.

Currently based in LA and Mexico, Julia. Has been hailed by the press as “one of the most important Latin American jazz singers of our time.” Julia Vari has dazzled audiences with her extraordinary stage presence and outstanding vocal technique at the most important festivals and theaters throughout the world. Julia was born with music in her blood, as her mother is a pianist and her father plays the guitar. She had the opportunity to study voice and piano at the prestigious Eastman School of Music, as well as musical theater at New York University
