The two honorees were treated to dinner and presented with recognition comments, corsages, cards, and gifts by 1961 classmates Jim Tomlin and Rob Feder, organizers of the event.

Both Dolores and Mary have been active in the SPHS Alumni Association over the years and working with its activities, including class reunions, picnics, scholarships and publications making the group one of the most active high school alumni associations in the country.

In addition to recognizing Mary and Dolores, the group of alums who grew up in South Pasadena in the 1950s and early ’60s enjoyed reconnecting with childhood friends, seeing their hometown, and reliving memories from their youth.
