General Plan/Downtown Specific Plan Moves Forward
The General Plan/Downtown Specific Plan Update is nearing another milestone, thanks to the hard work of many members of the community who have attended focus group meetings, the Visioning Charrette, and those who submitted responses to the survey.
On November 8, 2017, the City Council and the Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting to review the draft documents, and to provide staff with direction to begin the development of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
In the meantime, the public can review and comment on the working drafts portions of General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan at http://www.plansouthpasadena.org/outcomes.html. Hard copies of the two documents are available at the Library, City Clerk’s Office, and the Planning & Building Department counter.
There will be more opportunities for public involvement once the EIR process begins early next year.
