Inspired by the Indian spring festival of Holi, Color Festival is a celebration of spring for all ages featuring music, dancing, food, henna/flash tattoos, games, and vibrant color throws. As part of the celebration, event goers will be able to purchase small bags of brightly colored cornstarch and are invited to play, dance and color each other throughout the event. Every half hour there will be organized color throws, calling on participants to throw color into the air in unison and tinting the sky in pink, purple, orange, yellow, and blue hues.

The Color Festival is SPEF’s alternative to the annual Fun Fair, with a splash of color thrown in to welcome spring.

Admission to the Color Festival is $5 per person. The powder is additional with a variety of prices to fit everyone’s budget.
