City Gearing Up for Arts Crawl!

“Neighborhood Night-on-the-Town” on Saturday, February, 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Artists and businesses team up to celebrate the winter season with the fun and family friendly “Neighborhood Night-on-the-Town” on Saturday, February 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and produced by SPACE, the South Pasadena Arts Crawl welcomes people of all ages to this free event which offers gallery openings, art activities, live music, open houses, food and drink specials, and special events throughout the business district. There will be an Artisans’ Marketplace near the South Pasadena Historical Museum with artisans showcasing their unique, handcrafted wares. Mission Street, and adjacent blocks, will be abuzz with festivities for the event.

The event kicks off Women’s History Month in March with the theme of “Bad Girls,” based on the book “Bad Girls Throughout History: 100 Remarkable Women Who Changed the World.” There will be an event map published in the South Pasadena Review (the official guide to the Arts Crawl!) on Friday, February 23, fdand more information can be found on the Chamber’s website at www.southpasadena.net
