Arroyo Vista PTA is hosting its 2nd Annual AV Marketplace to encourage young entrepreneurship. This event will be taking place on Saturday, 10/21 from 10am to 1pm at Arroyo Vista Elementary School and they would love the community to come and do some shopping to support this fantastic event!
This year, AV PTA partnered up with the SPHS Varsity Virtual Business group to teach students ranging from Kindergartners to 5th Graders the basics of starting a business. There were information sessions lead by the high school students which included a presentation that included everything from creating a budget to marketing.
Over 50 booths with offerings of handmade creations to games will be at this year’s AV Marketplace. There will be something for everyone. Please bring cash as the transactions will be cash only.
Bring the kids and come support these AV students who have been working really hard to create their businesses and see what they have to offer!
