On Saturday, October 21st, Arroyo Vista Elementary School held their 2nd Annual AV Marketplace.  This special event sponsored by AV PTA was created to promote young entrepreneurship at the school.  75 students ranging from Kindergartners to 5th graders participated in creating their own businesses to be featured at the Marketplace this year.  Students were encouraged to use their creativity and to come up with a product or service that each of them could feature at their own booth.

Over 400 shoppers came out to support the AV Marketplace.  They had the opportunity to purchase original creations that ranged from flower pens, to Halloween-themed goodies, jewelry and headbands, gift tags, pet dolls, magnets, key chains, paper airplanes, terrariums, soaps and bath bombs, drawings, plants, slime, birdhouses, capes, AV spirit goods, hand painted mugs, Lego games, stress relief products, PVC pipe marshmallow blasters and so much more!
