Arroyo Vista Elementary was abuzz with anticipation as Principal Cheryl Busick welcomed parents back to school, especially the incoming kindergarten parents. Busick introduced everyone to the new Vice Principal, Kyle Bender, who is thrilled to be at Arroyo Vista to continue his 21 year journey in education.
PTA President, Kirsten Jones, spoke to parents about all the ways to get involved, joined by the Wish Night coordinator, reps from SPEF and a Dad representing the D.U.D.E.S!
The first activity of the year was a family movie night on the main lawn where families gathered, picnic-style, to take in the island magic of Disney’s Moana.
