Taste of South Pasadena has a record-breaking 28 restaurants participating and expects a larger crowd than ever with over 1,000 attendees! Five of the restaurants are new and are eager to showcase their specialties. This year, the Rotary of South Pasadena is specifically raising funds for Rise Against Hunger, a program where our local Club will pack 10,152 meals for needy children. Proceeds from this event will support this effort, and will raise money for local charities serving our communities, and to the efforts with Rotary International to eradicate polio worldwide.

Former Rotary President and current Committee Chair, Marchelle Sellers, says Taste of South Pasadena is one of her favorite events here in town and tells us, “I absolutely love meeting all the attendees. I personally stand out at the ticket area where people collect their wristbands and greet everyone. I love hearing how people come back every year and wouldn’t miss it, and I love hearing how new people stumbled across our little town and our big event.”

And Sellers favorite part of the event? “Seeing all the families and neighbors,” she says, “lots of kids, strollers, dogs, and families coming for a great night out and running into each other on the main streets. It is the perfect evening event for eating, strolling, eating, wine tasting and eating.”

This is sure to be a foodie’s delight and a great night out in the community. See you there!
