On February 14, the SPHS Associated Student Body hosted a congratulatory breakfast for the 2018 National Merit honorees. This year, SPHS recognizes three Semifinalists and 19 Commended Scholars.

Students qualify by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and earning among the highest scores in the state. Semifinalists compete for National Merit Scholarships that will be announced in the spring. Congratulations and Go Tigers!
